About Our Founder

Lori Ritter started Baby Doll Enterprises in 2006 with an abundance of passion and energy. The It Girl™ line was created, as Lori believes every girl should be treated like a star and everyone can fulfill their dreams no matter what challenges they face.

Before starting Baby Doll Enterprises, Lori established herself as a successful business woman in the fashion, retail and art industries. Her experience as Licensing Manager at Perry Ellis International, Product Development Associate for For Eyes Optical, Buyer at Federated Department Stores and the Guggenheim Museum in New York, allowed Lori to incorporate the best of everything that she has seen and experienced into Baby Doll Enterprises.

Lori is a native Floridian, born and raised in Miami. She received a BA in Art History from the University of Florida and a MA in Arts Administration from New York University. Her love for cosmetics and wanting to make everyone feel beautiful inside and out, led her to obtain a facial specialist license at the Florida College of National Health in Miami, FL. Lori also attended Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where she received advanced training in makeup application.

Having a passion to remain involved in charitable endeavors, Lori continues to be involved with organizations that are near and dear to her heart. You can see her on the softball field with the kids from the Miracle League, or supporting the Vestibular Disorders Association. Afflicted with Meniere’s Disease, Lori believes in empowering and encouraging all those who are faced with a personal challenge.
